The Ram Mandir Ayodhya is a major Hindu Temple for ayodhya, dedicated to Lord Ram, who is a central figure in Hindu mythology. The Temple is being built at the site to be the birthplace of lord Ram, in the city of Ayodhya , Uttar Pradesh, India.

Historical Background of The Ram Janmabhoomi ayodhya
The place where the Ram Mandir is being built already had a temple of Lord Ram, but Mir Baqi, the commander of Mughal emperor Babar, demolished the temple and built the Babri Mosque there in 1528. This led to a long-standing conflict between the Hindu and Muslim communities.
Started of The Ram Janmabhoomi Movement
The demand for the temple gained momentum in the 1980s with the rise of Kar Sevaks, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with many other organisations. Then in 1992, Hindu activists demolished the Babri Masjid and installed a statue of Ram Ji in its place. These events increased communal tension in the country.
The Supreme Court Verdict
After decades of legal battles, the Supreme Court of India delivered its final verdict on 5 November 2019. The court ordered the entire 2.7 acre disputed land to be given to the Hindu side for the construction of a Ram temple and ordered the government to provide an alternative 5 acre plot to the Muslim side for building a mosque.
Started Construction of The Ram Mandir Ayodhya

The temple is being constructed in three phases. The first phase, including the sanctum sanctorum, is expected to be completed by 2024. The temple will be opened to devotees, and the remaining parts of the complex will be completed in subsequent years.
The foundation stone of the temple was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020. The temple is designed in the Nagara style of Indian architecture, with intricate carvings, a grand hall and a focus on the sanctum sanctorum. The temple complex will be spread over an area of 57 acres, with the primary temple rising to around 161 feet.

Lord Shri Ram is present in every particle of Ram Nagari Ayodhya. A grand and divine temple of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ramlala was being built in the same Ayodhya. Meanwhile, Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has shared a photo, in which he told that about 40 to 50 feet deep excavation was done in the ground to lay the foundation of the temple.
During this, the remains of ancient temples were found. Which was being discussed all over the country. It included many types of statues and pillars. The number of these remains was said to be around 50. These included 8 broken pillars, 6 broken statues, 5-6 earthen pots and 6-7 urns.
These Remance will be kept in the gallery near the exit gate of the temple.
Sadhus and saints and experts of Sanatan Dharma have claimed that these remains are about 2000 years old. Artworks of gods and goddesses, earthen urns and pieces of carved stones used in the temple are seen carved in these rocks and pillars.

The total land area for the construction of Ram Mandir is 2.7 acres. In which the temple has been constructed in 57,400 square feet. The total length of the temple is 360 feet and the total width of the temple is 235 feet, the total height of the temple including the spire is 161 feet. The temple is built on 3 floors, in which the height of each floor will be 20 feet and a total of 160 pillars have been installed in the ground floor of the temple. 132 pillars have been installed in the first floor of the temple and 74 pillars in the second floor of the temple. A total of 5 platforms and pavilions have been built in the temples. A total of 12 gates have been built in the temple.
